PETROTRADE GL 5 Gear oils are blended from group II+ hydro cracked virgin base oils and a unique additive package, which provide an extreme high level of resistance to oxidation and chemical degradation and micro pitting. The additive package also includes anti-foam, anti-wear, anti-corrosion and extreme pressure additives.
Applications
PETROTRADE GL5 Gear oils designates the type of service characteristics of gears, particularly hypoid gears, in passenger cars and other automotive equipment operated under high speed/shock loaded, high speed / torque, and low speed / high torque conditions.
Limited slip applications is generally used for locked up clutches/differentials or cones that prevent excessive spinning of one wheel by transferring power to the wheel that has better traction.
